ALIANAIT ARTS FESTIVAL

Based in Iqaluit, Nunavut, Alianait uses the arts to help build a healthier, more connected North. We present family-friendly, alcohol-free events, and create outreach opportunities between artists and youth to build skills and confidence through music and art.

We're expanding across Nunavut with a focus on Inuit empowerment—offering training in event management, tech, and fundraising. This year, we’re launching a Festival Training Pilot, with the first sessions happening just before our festival in June.

Alianait 2025 takes place June 19–22 during Indigenous Peoples Day weekend, featuring mostly Indigenous artists—many of them Inuit from the Arctic. We're excited to be here at Arctic Sounds to share, connect, and strengthen circumpolar collaboration.
