A MESS

Danish Rock n’ Riot Grrrl A Mess confronts gender perceptions combined with societal outrage with a head-on approach. She fuses modern indie punk with 90ties power pop. Imagine if The Breeders bred Wet Leg and left the upbringing to Pussy Riot. Described by Visions Magazine (GER) as “feministic power pop driven by raw guitar riffs.”. A Mess release new music in 2026 on well renowned indie label Rookie Records (GER). She is set to push the boundaries of her pop influences with elements of screamo perfectly reflecting the wild energy of A Mess’ live performances. Expect explosive energy and fierce female empowerment, as there’s plenty to be outraged about these days.

A Mess’ debut album, WOMAN - NO MAN (2024), has received outstanding reviews and international attention, with three singles in heavy rotation on P6 Beat (Danish BB6), GAFFA awarded it five stars, calling it “a remarkable release,” while international magazines and blogs like OXFANZINE (GER), Loud Women (UK) and Der Spiegel (GER) have spotlighted the band's talent amongst many more. Touring across Denmark and Europe with 100+ shows since 2021, A Mess is known for her kick ass live shows. She is set to play Reeperbahn Festival in 2026 and headline Arctic SoundS festival in Greenland. She has played an Europe Tour in 2025, Copenhell (2025), Waves Vienna (2024 Austria) and SPOT Festival (DK 2022), headlined Nordklang Festival (2023 Switzerland) and been recognized as one of IMPALA’s “100 Artists to Watch” in 2024.
